Christmas cookies

I've started to see lots of fab festive cookie ideas around. Cookies make great gifts and can be lots of fun to decorate with the kids. Here's a few of my favourites ...

Who thought if you turned a gingerbread man upside down he could be a reindeer?! I found these over at cakecentral.com. There are heaps of other ideas on the website too so it's a good place to have a look around for some inspiration.

I love these melted snowmen cookies, I've seen lots of versions of these but I just love the look on the faces of these ones from www.sprinklesandgrins.com! These would be lots of fun to make with the kids.

Halloween decoration ideas

My favourite celebration is coming up ... Halloween!

I have been seeing heaps of fab ideas over the last few weeks and thought I would share a few of my favourites starting with decorating ideas (will share some other things later in the week too).

I am very tempted to decorate our trees like this! What a fun idea!

I got lost today on Pinterest looking at 'googly eyes' to get some ideas for using candy eyeballs which we've just got in stock for Halloween.

The Pixie Crew Out & About in August

Last month was a crazy month for us - we exhibited at both the Food Show and the Baby Show in Auckland and we launched our new improved website.

This years Food Show in Auckland was a fantastic event and it was our first time exhibiting there. It was very full on - there were over 33,000 visitors over 4 days. We sold lots of pretty party products & meet lots of lovely people. Here's some of the great photos that we had taken at the show. A big thanks to Sheera Gordon Photography for the amazing job she did photographing our stand. Here's a few of the pics:





And I thought you might like a giggle ... at the Food Show lots of people told us we should have dressed up so as promised I dressed up for the Baby Show. Here I am as Minnie Mouse dressed in my fab tutu made by Mariana from Mayhem Creations NZ. My Fairy Princess helper was the lovely Emma from Bumble Beads
